Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 2 to 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Orders for Fireworks, Sparklers or Smoke Grenades (DG) require a consent upon delivery, If you are not generally home, consider shipping to your workplace. Or we can ship to a nearby Hold-for-Pick-Up location.

Canadian Shipping

Flat Rate Shipping is offered for most of central Canada on a minimum order. Free shipping is also offered on orders meeting a minimum requirement. Note: Dangerous Goods orders are subject to higher shipping fees because of surcharges imposed by Canadian couriers for special licensing & handling. We do our best to minimize these fees to our customers: the more you order, the less you pay for shipping. The flat rate shipping fee's are generally starting at $45.00. Service providers can include: Loomis, Day and Ross, Manitoulin or Gardewine. 

Definite exclusions: These companies do not ship fireworks at all: Canada Post, UPS, and FedEx.

Local delivery

Free local delivery is available for orders over specified minimums within Greater Sudbury Area (most Postal Codes are accepted, if you live in the P0M (Capreol, Chelmsford, Azilda, Copper Cliff, Valley, or Coniston) Area please select pick up and contact us by email. For orders under the specified minimums, we charge flat rates for local delivery. Please note that we do have some local pick up options below, and our staff can generally accommodate meeting you on our way home in the evening and therefor can offer better options listed below. All local delivery orders require adult consent upon delivery, If you are not generally home, consider shipping to your workplace.

If you live in Capreol or Wahnapitae First Nation: Please select In-store pickup and we will deliver free of charge on our way home in the afternoon.

Deliveries are made as we finalize them. We will contact you via phone call with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the timelines.

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 153 Loonway Road On Wahnapitae First Nations. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 2 to 10 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup is by appointment ONLY as we are not always at the Office. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

Mobile location pickup

During Retail Sales Periods in Sudbury we open mobile retail locations in Hanmer and Sudbury. Order for Pick up at these locations will be opened a short period before the beginning of the sales period, and pick up will only be available during the retail location's hours of operation during the legal sales period in Sudbury.

Please note that not all locations have the same products. Dream Catcher Fireworks will endeavor to move stock when possible however if product is unavailable at the selected location, our staff will contact you to confirm substitution or refund. Online sales for mobile locations will close the day before the holiday and orders must be picked up before 4pm on the final day of sales or will be cancelled and refunded.

If any calls from our staff are not answered, orders may be cancelled and refunded at the retail locations discretion.

International Shipping

As most of our product is only approved for use in Canada, we do not offer international shipping on any fireworks or other explosive devices.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@dreamcatcherfireworks.ca with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Shipping is determined on a case-by-case basis, some couriers do not deliver to P.O. boxes, so please included full mailing address on your order, including a valid phone number. If only a P.O. box is provided there may be additional charges or the order may be cancelled at our discretion.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@dreamcatcherfireworks.ca with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
